A 6.6 Magnitude Earthquake Struck Northern Sumatra, Indonesia.

September 5, 2011 – A 6.6 Magnitude Earthquake Struck Northern Sumatra, Indonesia: The quake occurred on September 6th (because of the International Date Line) at 12A55 at the epicenter. It was at a depth of 110 kilometers (68 miles). The quake was located too far inland to generate a tsunami.
The tremor was 62 miles south-west of Medan, Sumatra, Indonesia; 104 miles NNW of Sibdga, Sumatra, Indonesia; 233 miles south-west of Pinang, Malaysia; 256 miles west of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and 325 miles NNW of Singapore.
The Java Trench (see map) was the site of the deadly 9.1 Magnitude December 26, 2004 mega-quake and tsunami; that killed over 200,000 people.
I’ve marked the Malacca Strait, with an orange line. This strait is extremely critical to shipments of crude oil and other critical materials to China, Japan and other nations in the north-west Pacific Ocean. The strait narrows between Malaysia and Sumatra and is a critical choke hold, subject to terrorist attack.

I am very impressed. I ready your prediction about this quake to take place at 1pm Pacific. I’m in Anaheim CA and my son is in Austin TX. What do you see happening in these two places between now and the end of 2012? I’m thinking the mountains of AZ, or Albuquerque NM, or the mountains of Colorado as safe places with resources to live out the difficult times approaching. Is Las Vegas a good place? What do you recommend and or predict? Waiting for your soon reply. Thank you in advance for your input and advice.
