7.8 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes 740 Mile North of Auckland, New Zealand 2 Hours Ago!

A very large 7.8 earthquake struck in the south-west Pacific Ocean less than two hours ago (12:03 P.M. PDT). The orange “A” in the map above, marks the location of today’s massive earthquake. Their is currently no Tsunami warning and little damage has been reported due to the remoteness of the earthquake.
However, this is an ominous sign and portends strong movement in the Pacific Tectonic Plate, making up the “Ring of Fire.” Very large earthquakes have already occurred in Japan (March 11th) and Chile. Will the San Andreas fault be next, ripping California apart?
