October 30, 2012 – A 6.2 Magnitude Aftershock Struck Western Canada: The USGS map above shows 76 aftershocks, greater than or equal to 4.0 magnitude, generated by the 7.7 Magnitude quake on October 28, 2012 in Western Canada.
The 7.7 magnitude quake occurred on Oct. 28th at 3:04AM GMT. The 6.3 aftershock occurred 15 hours and 50 minutes later. Todays 6.2 magnitude aftershock struck at 3:04AM GMT.
This many earthquakes, including an extremely powerful 7.7 magnitude event, are worrisome for Seattle Washington and the Western United States to include California.
