July 24, 2012 – Earthquakes by Signs of the Zodiac: I downloaded all global earthquakes greater than or equal to (>=) 6.0 magnitude, from 1/1/1973 to 7/22/2012, and created a 14,447 row file in Excel. Each row reflects the quantity of earthquakes, total magnitude, and cumulative Power 10X and Strength 32X ratings. The 10X and 32X ratings are from the USGS Website, and reflect the magnitude power (10X) and strength (32X) of each earthquake. The 32X rating is the more important, because it reflects the true destructive strength of earthquakes. However, I plotted the 10X rating so that very large quakes don’t hide subtle differences in the graph.
Using a custom Macro I coded, I extracted the number and strength of global earthquakes, for each time the Sun entered one of the 12 Zodiac Signs. I, also, summarized the Mode and Element for each case. The results are shown in the table below:
The top two graphs are the Qty and Pwr 10X by Zodiac Sign columns, in the above matrix.
Clearly, Aries is the strongest Sign, in terms of Quantity and Magnitude; while Capricorn is the strongest for Power 10X and Strength 32X ratings. The weakest sign, in all four columns, is Aquarius.
The Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) was the strongest Mode and the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) were the weakest.
The Earth Element was the strongest for Quantity, Magnitude, and Strength 32X; while Fire was the strongest in terms of the Power 10X rating. The Air Signs was the weakest Element in all four cases.
The summary of the data is shown below:
This data clearly shows that when the Sun is in Aries or Capricorn, very strong earthquakes tend to occur. When the Sun is in Aquarius, earthquakes are at a low; in terms of quantity, power and strength.
